Las Olas Boulevard
Las Olas Boulevard will give you a good survey of the nature of Ft. Lauderdale. Upscale shops, countless restaurants, and a whole slough of boutiques are everywhere, all being frequented by the sculpted and bronzed beautiful people of Southern Florida. Las Olas Boulevard (from about Andrews Avenue to Himarshee Canal) is really the hub of Fort Lauderdales consumer culture (and what a culture it is!). Its a little bit pricey, but honestly not as bad as you will find in Miami or South Beach. Whatever your pleasure, you will find it on Las Olas Boulevard. Shop at places like Maus and Hoffman for top brand names and then have it gift-wrapped in genuine sheets of uncut one and two dollar bills (a service they recently started offering, I suppose to combat any gossip implying that they werent already at the cutting edge of indulgence). Then there are the restaurantscountless eateries that offer whatever you might be feeling like. Mangos is my favorite as much for the nightly live music as for the food (though the food is fantastic as well). There are over 20 restaurants and bars on the boulevard, and it certainly pays to explore.
Las Olas Boulevard is a quintessential South Florida experience, and as such, matches perfectly with the quintessential South Florida vehicle: the stretch limo. Millenium Limo offers an unmatched selection of limousines and luxury vehicle for your perusal and driving pleasure. It is notoriously difficult to find parking on the boulevard, so why bother? Hop in a Millenium limo and start enjoying Ft. Lauderdale today!
